Learning how to ride on snowboard

It's fun learning to snowboard as soon as you get it right. I kept panicking when I started to turn as I sped up, and this was just on the training slope. I also didn't lean onto the leading front foot, which is used for turning. When I finally relaxed and let the feet do the worked, it came about so easily.
Committing to each turn was simply a confidence thing and you needed to be sure of yourself, in an unforced fashion. A put off was sharing the slope with fast skiers and snowboarders, but you couldn't think of that too much.
The Antics - I nearly went in between a lady's skiing legs, went sideways a shave almost too close to a snowboard, and fell over on the hard compacted snow. You just can't slow down going sideways - well maybe you can by turning up the hill, but then you fall backwards/forwards depending on which way you are facing.
I'm still not Main Slope Ready at The snow Centre, in Hemel, but that's because it's only my 2nd lesson.
If you ever think of snowboarding/skiing, take a spare t-shirt as you'll be soaking wet from over heating in the waterproofs.
